Meet Tannis, our Founder and Lead Consultant

Tannis is an impactful, solutions oriented professional with 20+ years of experience in strategic planning, process improvement, and change management who approaches every role and client with thoughtfulness and inclusion at the forefront. Tannis has a well-rounded skill set that includes nonprofit and IT team and project leadership, government relations expertise, successful entrepreneurship, and a commitment to community building through extensive executive board participation, founding, and management.

She currently owns and manages Bespoke Giving Strategies, providing innovative, custom solutions social impact and nonprofit groups, and she specializes in bringing organizations together to create mutually beneficial, collaborative partnerships.

Tannis' previous experience includes IT management and consulting, a term as a municipal elected official, an entrepreneur as the owner of two clothing boutiques and a yoga and wellness studio, and a former Chamber of Commerce President. She has started two not-for-profits focused on helping women and queer youth and is also a certified yoga and meditation instructor. Additionally, Tannis is currently developing the Social Impact Collaboration Hub, a program that allows nonprofits to collaborate and combine resources with other nonprofits and funders through self management, and with consultation upon request.

Tannis is relatively new to the Syilx Okanagan region, having moved here in 2021. She is passionate about working to create a more accepting, and better-informed society, and in her spare time she loves reading, writing, art, live music, and being in nature.
