Board Governance Training

We offer two program different types of programs for nonprofit Board of Directors members. Both programs blend practical skills, best practices, and essential tools to ensure that Boards are effective, in alignment with organizational missions and values, and provide a meaningful and mutually beneficial experience for Board members.

The first program is our Practical Governance for Board Leadership program. It's delivered in two modules online for two hours each. We recommend that two members of your Board who are either on the executive, are planning to join the executive, or who maintain a leadership role attend. Each cohort has eight spaces available and the program is a combination of content delivery and group discussions. Governance tools will be provided for attendees to take away.

Our second program is Social Impact Board Fundamentals. It's delivered to your full board in person or online and provides a full governance overview for new and existing Board Members. Each attendee will receive a governance toolkit with templates, links and references via email following completion of the program.
